What kind of hairloss is this and what can I do?
Ughh damn hairloss. I guess I am a diffuse thinner. It sucks. I do not know what to do next I am 25 years old, and my hair is getting thinner. Never tried any treatment except for rogaine for like a month. Scared to take the FIN plunge so I made an appointment for two weeks from now with a top notch urologist and hormone specialist in my area. The problem is I struggle with anxiety and I tend to obsess about things so I do not want to obsess about sides. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone and good luck.

    Diffuse thinner. For sure.

If you're going to do something about your hair loss, don't procrastinate any longer.

I obsess and get anxious about things too. I just decided I'd rather maybe get obsessed with looking or sides than obsessed with looking at my hair knowing it wasn't going to get better on its own.

One quick thought on sides. I usually only notice them when I have nothing better to do than worry about sides.

For how long have you been losing hair?

It is common male patterned hair loss. If this bothers you, you need to see a doctor and talk about treatment. You need to understand that in order to gain any cosmetic benefit from treatment it takes a full 12 to 18 months. So using Rogaine for only one month did absolutely nothing for you.

Talk to a doctor who specializes in treating hair loss.

Good advice here. I wasted my time seeing some asshat of a GP, who just did a blood test, gave me keto, and said good luck.

Then I located a dermatologist, who was very knowledgeable, helpful, consoling, understanding, and she was even good-looking (which made disclosing my insecurities slightly embarrassing).

I'd say just call ahead and ask if the dermatoligist, GP, or whatever is knowledgeable on hair loss before you waste time and/or money.

The above is some really good advice. I have seen 2 family doctors and they didn't know crap about hair loss treatments. I was the one who had to ask for propecia. They were basically trying to convince me to just deal with it.
