23 year old - Please help is this early balding!

I'm a 23 y/o male and I have been going absolutely insane trying to work out if my hairline has receded or if it is receding or any of those. I have a tonne of photos and am going to a hair clinic tomorrow but am worried they will just tell me I am balding so I buy their stuff (belgravia clinic if anyone has ever been)

please let me know what you all think, I'm hoping hoping hoping to be told its just a mature hairline as I really care a lot about my hair (I know everyone does) so give me your honest opinions and advice!

It's all about comparison to how it looked... 3 months ago... 6, a year, etc.

Do you see hair in the shower, pillow? How is your crown.

Unless you have serious thinning or evidence of recession, it is hard to tell.

Almost everyone, has some level of "maturing".

Yeah, it's all about how it changes. We don't know where your hairline used to be so it's impossible to tell how much it has receded, if it has at all. Viewing your pictures, I see a very thick head of hair with a hairline that is still youthful.

Your hairline looks a lot like mine, maybe slightly better. To me it appears to be the slightly receded "mature hairline" that is discussed so much in these forums. There is extensive debate about whether a mature hairline is really balding, but what I can tell you from experience is this:

I did not even noticed my hairline had receded at all until someone did me the disfavor of pointing it out when I was 24. I went back and looked through pictures, and from what I can tell, the maturation had to have occurred before I was even 20. I am currently 27, and my hairline has not moved a single hair farther back since then. The point even if your hair has receded a bit, it is at least possible for it to remain stable for years to come. Your hair is obviously thick and looks good.
