[PICS] I am 18 years old. Am I balding?
I have noticed my hair getting less and less thick, now I can see my scalp through my afro! How do I fix this? It's been happening since I was 16. My uncle is the only one in my family with thin, slowly balding hair. My parents keep telling me not to worry, and a doctor said I'm not balding. My gut says otherwise.

You're slowly balding if you can see your scalp through your fro now but couldn't 4 years ago. If there isn't a lot of balding in your family you shouldn't be overly concerned about going completely bald. However get on rogaine now which will slow down the any balding that may be occurring. If you don't want to do rogaine, shave it and own it.

Hi! So, well, if the doctor said that everything is fine, then either change the doctor or the hairstyle. Maybe your hair need the rest...

It was like that with my friend, he made a short haircut and everything worked out for him. True, he can't wear long hair below the shoulders anyway, it falls out a lot Maybe there were not enough elements in the body for hair, I don't know.
