Am thinning or do I have early signs of male-pattern baldness?

I’m 16 and recently someone pointed out the bald spot on my crown. Once I checked it I started freaking out because it’s gotten worse from when I last checked. It is pretty thin all around the crown, although i’ve always had two small bald spots on my crown but it seems to be getting worse. My dad also has the same two spots. I never thought it was possible for me to go bald since my grandpa had a full head of hair at 80 and my dad still has his hair but I think i might be in the early stages of balding.
