Marc Dauer, MD- 1983 Grafts FUT to Norwood 6
    Greetings,

Here is a physician patient of mine who was a Norwood 6 and had undergone a single previous procedure many years ago with another physician. The patient had less than average donor density and a severe hair loss pattern. In these cases it is often impossible to cover the entire scalp with a good density of hair so the best course can be to focus primarily on the frontal and mid scalp so as to frame the face as best as possible and leave the crown with a lower density. In this case we focused on the frontal and mid scalp. The patient is thrilled with his results at 9 months (when the after photos were taken) and plans to have a follow up procedure to add some density to the frontal scalp and address the crown.
