    This is it wet

It didn't change much over the past 6 months which is weird... I wear a helmet like everyday but I don't think that'd cause it...

I also haven't cut it for 6 months either. I figured if I'm gonna go bald I may as well see what it looks like long

So how long do I got and how much worse will it get

You are thinning a bit, on the crown... the question is, how is your hairline? Temples?

The temples aren't too bad, slightly receded. I think I'm nw3 vertex because the entire hairline receded a bit not just the temples but I'm not sure .
How much longer until I go completely bald? I don't mind going bald but it's kinda bullshit to go bald at a mere 21.

I don't have those answers, no one has. It's your genetics and biology...

Nobody know how long it will take, maybe 2, 5 or 10 years. Who knows?

Why not jump on the big 3 and save your hair? (and if you stick long enough to it grow back most of it).

I'd rather just buy a wig honestly. I may consider minoxidil but nothing else, when I hit 30 I literally won't care but at 21 I do care. I don't get why wigs get such hate it seems to me like a win win

As a person who is in the process of investigating a "hair system", after being bald for 20 years... I can tell you, it's not a "win-win". It requires funds, maintenance, dedication and the knowledge that despite all of the new technologies, they are not always 100% undetectable (unless you spend $$$).

I am choosing this route, purely for fashion. Everyone has known me bald, very few have seen me with hair. So, it's not going to be a "wow, you grew your hair back", after a long weekend in Madrid.

But, it certainly is less evasive as surgery and does not have the potential side effects of meds.

With the two different lighting conditions, it's not clear which set of photos are the most recent. That's obviously a good thing, because nothing looks to have changed. There is simply no way of telling how fast or how slow your hairloss will progress. It's just a case of 'wait and see'. You still have a really great head of hair, so best advice is to put it out of your mind and get on with life.

I am going to agree and take a wait and see attitude. You can get a bit creative with the hairstyle to cover the thinning spot. I would suggest NOT cutting it short... as it could make it more noticeable.

Check back in six months, a year... and then see what is going on, and decide.

I don't see any deterioration between the 2 periods but your crown is thinning.
