Results after a year [NW2.5, FUT1100+]

Hi guys! Thought I'd share my results. I posted here 2 years ago thinking I might have a mature hairline. I was wrong :-( and styling my hair was a nightmare every day. After being stable on finasteride for a year, I took the plunge.. I received a 1100+ FUT on the hairline. They warned me I may not be satisfied, as my hair is very thick and I may not like how the density of a first transplant is +-40%. But I'm glad to report they were mostly wrong :-)

It's not a perfect hairline by any means, but it looks and feels like a mature hairline, and I couldn't be happier I got the procedure done. It's a huge load off my back, and I feel better than ever.

Had it done in Europe, total cost was roughly 3500 euros (4000 dollars?). Not a known doctor but in our country a well known clinic. I'm still on Fin and will continue to be for the rest of my life I suppose, but it's a small price to be for happiness. I no longer fear every gust of wind or every drop of rain.

It's still very hard getting used to having more hair to be honest.. I still only notice my temples. After 2 years of staring at your hairline 3 hours a day while browsing hairlossforums everywhere, I suppose it takes time to adjust. But I'm way more confident, and I'm way more happy.
