    Hello Icebald !

First of all, DO NOT ALLOW yourself to become worried and depressed over this or anything else in life !
Worry and stress WILL cause more problems to your hairline!!
    That is a fact!!
Be accepting of how things are for right now BECAUSE you can improve your hair and also
    get the proper help needed.

Consider seeing a doctor about using Finasteride. Also, the over-the-counter Minoxidil does help!!
Also, start using another over-the-counter vitamin of the B complex, Biotin !
Biotin has been around for a long time and it does help men and women's hair along with other parts of ones body! (its minor but does help)
I suggest all of that because I have been on it for a long time now.
I have positive ongoing results by it all.
Of course I did have some grafts done on Nov. 2015.
(I was a part of a phase testing out in NYC and thats why I was given 500+grafts)
    Have a good weekend!!

    Thank you!

Im a bit afraid of propecia, i would start minox soon. Its not too late to see improvement with these treatments? Will minox thicken up my crown? Now im using nizoral 1% nothing else,oh and fish capsules but that dont help much i think.

Good to hear from you Icebald!

If you dont want to try using Finasteride, that is OK.
Get on Minoxidil and consider also using Biotin too.
Minoxidil does help people's hair at different percentages for everyone.
I think that it has helped my crown area as well but I dont know for sure.
I am accepting of whatever my scalp is.
(No need for any type of emotional issues due to ones possible hairloss)
As I understand it, Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo, is relatively good to use.
Ive never tried it as let but I remember reading about its long positive history.
(Ill ask Dr. Wesley what he thinks about it too.)

    Cheers to you Ice'

If you're going to have a HT they're going to recommend you take propecia anyway to protect against further loss. You might as well see how you respond to it beforehand.

    Hello again Icebald,

I agree with what 'AllTheGoodNamesAreTaken' had to say here,
"If you're going to have a HT they're going to recommend you take propecia anyway to protect against further loss. You might as well see how you respond to it beforehand"
Its true that if you are to go to a good HT doctor, the doctor WOULD advise that you DO start using Finasteride. You should really consider that Ice'....Cheers!
It was a good response to Icebald 'AllTheGoodNamesAreTaken', thanks!

I must disagree with the idea that it's ok to not be on finasteride at 25 years of age if you are considering surgery. You owe it to your future self to throw everything you can at the problem BEFORE you even remotely consider surgery. Prevention is the first thing to set up because if you don't then a hair transplant is only a temporary fix. While your new hair is growing in your native hair is still falling out.

    Things to do first.

    1. Talk to your doctor about name brand Propecia or Proscar (cut into quarters).
    2. Consider Rogaine.
    3. Be healthy. Don't smoke, drink little, exercise a lot and eat good foods.
    4. Biotin might help your hair. That, combined with MSM (about 3000 mcg), will help your EXISTING hair grow faster and stronger but there is scant evidence that it makes your miniaturized hairs thicken or prevent loss. Personal reports are one thing, and they do exist, but scientifically not so much.
    5. PRP w/ACell. There was a time when I would laugh at this suggestion but I've seen the results myself, dozens of times now, and I've had the procedure with mild improvements (I'm a unique case).

Do all of these things FIRST and while you're doing them you can research your surgical options for IF you stop your loss, not when, because there are no guarantees with this and the last thing you want to do is waste 10K to 20K or more only to be left more loss than your donor zone can handle.

Good response to Icebald , Joe !! Thank you Joe

Icebald , I hope that you respond here as well, my friend!
I want to back sure that you are or will do A-OK. Do not allow anything in life to affect you in a negative way.
All things in life can be helped. Stay positive, no reason not to be.
    Cheers again.

Im not that depressed because shaved head really suits me,but i miss my hair and styling and so on.I cant afford propecia right now, because im on ssri(zoloft) and have low libido, well propecia will double this problem,as there are side effects like depression, brain fog and loss of libido.

You shouldn't be depressed because of one reason that you are not alone! A lot of people have hair loss problems that come to an extent at which hair transplant is necessary. So you are only one of those people. But still you need to be very carefully for hair transplant issue and problems. So go ahead and discuss from a certified hair loss specialist for proper treatment.
