Before and 7 months after 1800 FUE grafts to the beard/goatee region. FUE can effectively be utilized to harvest grafts for facial hair transplants, allowing the patient if he wishes to shave his head in the future. Note that while the donor area was shaved down at the time of the procedure, the surrounding longer hair on top of the area shaved was sufficient for concealing the shaved area. At 7 months after, there is excellent growth of the transplants, and the hairs that were once shaved in the donor area have been growing longer.
