    Recession at 18 years old.
I would like to say I am only being a paranoiac but with that in mind I’d be ignoring the fact my hairline does look different from what it did at 15 years old, I wish I had reference images but of course didn’t really think about taking pictures of my hairline back then.

My grandpa (mother’s dad) had minor recession up until 50/60 years old where he receeded quite badly.
My grandad (father’s dad) had bad recession from an early age - however this was mainly stress related from the war. (Who’d have thought he’d be fighting for his country and I’d be moping on the internet about my hairline, silly really I know)

However, my dad and his brothers have decent hairlines, my dad of course has minor balding and is about a Norwood II but he is 58 years old. My mums brother is also the same but has retained thicker hair than my dad.

I have noticed that my hair seems to be receding (or I’m just being paranoid yet again) more on the right side than the left.

I guess what I’m wanting to know is if my hair looks like it’s receding or maturing, I’ve heard maturing is something of a myth but I do believe that it exists as my oldest brothers hairline matured and retained its original hold, he is now 39 and it’s the same as it was when he was my age.

I’ve been keeping an eye on it but was just wondering if anyone could help me? Cheers.
