    Hair thinning only on temples
Hello! (First post on here) Recently I've been worried about something. I am 20 and these days it seems like I'm noticing that the hairs on my temples are thinner than last year, and they are thinner than the rest of my hair on the side. However, I must say that my hair on top is perfectly fine, (like you will see in one of the picture) but I'm wondering if thinning on the temples could be a sign that I will start balding and have a receding hairline in the near future... I've always had a quite large forehead, but it's only recently that I've been noticing how thin the hair on my temples are. Should I be worried? What do you think? I put some pictures of my hair.

    Thank you!

It looks slightly thinner in density than the rest of the sides, but not much. Your hairline looks similar to mine so I am interested in others opinions. I would just keep an eye on it, but dont stress about it.

I just noticed that my dad also has thin hair on his temples and he is 53 and still has all his hair so I'm not worried anymore. I just have naturally thin hair I guess.

Hi, even my hair is quite soft around this area, but they have been always like that. It’s true that Men often first notice hair loss on the temple area or on the hair line. But, I guess for few, it’s quite natural have thinning over there or hairline just thins unevenly for some men. Keep observing for few more months. If you think, it’s worsening, worth making an appointment with your GP/Derma, because this is how MPB progresses.
