Is there a bad start?(pics)-Advice Please.
In the last 2 years I noticed my hair was getting thinner in the middle. I used a lot of hair products over the last 3-4 years like hair spray gel putty wax etc.The area that I mainly used the products is the one affected. Now I decided to have a shorter hair and I was amazed by what I saw. Do you think is because of the hair products used or is a start of an MPB etc. I am 20 years old btw with no MPB history in my family etc. What shall I do in this situation?Shall I cut it off completely and let it regenerate, hopefully?
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Thanks

I'd say shave it for a month or two, if you don't have an issue with that, and start using natural shampoos with no sulphates. See where you are in a few months. I'd stay away from trying anything unless you are convinced it's MPB. Good luck!

Thats what I wanted to ask here if it's MPB or not. It doesn't have the common symptoms of it, does it?What do you mean by natural shampoo? Before I wash it I apply some vinegar(pure apple one) and let it on for 10-15 mins.

It doesn't look like MPB necessarily, though some people experience diffuse thinning of the entire area of the scalp ... so don't rule out MPB just yet. One thing is for sure. Stop using all the crap you're putting in your hair, you can even see the residue in the pictures. If anything, use something very mild on special occasions only. If i were you, i'd just shave my head for awhile. That's what im going to be doing in fact myself very soon :p

By natural shampoo i meant any shampoo that uses only organic ingredients, and is paraben and sulfate free. You can find them at stores that sell vitamins and such. They go for anywhere from $7 to $15

Bear in mind the style you currently have is spiked, so the hair is standing upright, revealing more scalp. Also, since you use product, the hair will clump together, which can make it look like there is less coverage. What does your hair look like natural?

I am back!. I haven't used any products for my hair only occasionally some hair spray/gel once every 2 weeks. I still think I got MBP. Is there a need to go to GP and ask to see a Dermatologist? You can check these pictures(wet hair)
I just want to mention that I am no a hairy person. If I remember correctly back when I was 12 I used to spike my hair and people will comment about my scalp. I don't remember my front to be so thin though, could it be that I mainly spiked that bit for about 3 years daily?

Please see pics and let me know.,
