Wait for Replicel or get on with treatment (Minoxdil and Fin)?!!!
    Hey all,,

I am at NW3 and cannot stand looking at my hair getting thinner and my hairline gets receding any longer. I am in to start the treatment but the only thing stopping me is that I may have to commit to it for the rest my life even when better treatments such as Replicel get on the market.

Can I still benefit from future treatments when I am on Minox and Fin and be able to stop them after getting the treatment? Or Will I have to keep using them regardless?!!

Get on fin at least. You can get off it when other treatments arrive. Minoxidil... I don't know. Point is you need to keep what you have if you want the true benefit of a treatment like Replicel... if it gets to market.

Get on fin + minox if you want to keep what you have.

There is absolutely nothing that will stop you from changing treatment after something else is available.

The only thing that might be an issue is a hair transplant but either fin or minox are fine

Get on Fin now, and quit whenever you want.

Definitely use methods that are already scientifically proven. Even if we do eventually find a cure (probably not), at least you will have terminal hair. And it's possible that even Histogen, which isn't as good as Replical, will finish the job.

Remember, even Histogen only works on one hair growth phase, when used by itself (no anti-DHT agent). That came from the CEO herself. That means the effects will last between two and five years.

Final note. The longer left untreated, the worse your chance of growing back hair. Trust me, I've been there. If I took Finasteride in my twenties, even thirties, I wouldn't have to take Progesterone to regrow my hair. Now, the best I can hope for is Norwood 2.5, which is very doubtful at my age.
