Wanted to share my experience with all the folks who are interested in possibly going this route one day.
My first post here, however I am active member on the other major hairloss forum,I go by the same username.
Anyways,a little about me,suffering with hairloss for about 15 years,diffuse thinner,not a candidate for a hair transplant.
Started looking into SMP about 6 months back, been on propecia for about 10 years so my current hair is holding well.
My appointment was booked for Sept 7th and 8th at Dr Fellers office in Great Neck,NY.
I normally wear my hair long on the side and on the top,and use toppik on a daily basis, after doing tons of research i decided to make this work i would have to crop my hair down to a 1 grade,to give it that natural look.
| met Spex,Dr Feller, and a few others who also got work done from Milena Lardi.
There was tons of pictures taken by Spex and Dr Feller,I am hoping one of them can chime in and add pictures to this post.
Enough of that, first procedure was Friday the 7th which took about 3 hours and the second on Saturday the 8th which took 1 hour.
Its day 5 since the last procedure, and my honest take is that I am impressed,my family and friends are impressed.
I got a haircut yesterday and my barber oof 20 years did not notice a thing.
I would probably need another session to perfect the look, for now things are good,i plan to update monthly pics so I can document any fading, color changing etc.
I did have the procedure done on most of the top of my head.
Your questions are welcomed::)

Hi Srk,
Great to see you on here sharing your opinion. You looked great on the day and it was great to meet you. Dr Feller and Dr Lindsey both thought your transformation was very impressive indeed.
You were an idea candidate. The pics i have do not do it justice. I know the Doc has some good compares however and i will upload once i get them.
The MAIN this is your testimony as i know you were also very sceptical coming in this yet it appears to have made many people believers including you and thats the main objective!
Visually this looks much better than before, I must say you had a cracking hairline shape, I wish that my hair had fallen out in the same way, rather than just receding at the temples. Did your hairloss happen quite slowly and take time before you realized what was happening?
Very encouraging that your hairdresser didn't notice the SMP.
Please keep us updated.

sp8rky,
My hairloss did start slowly, however i started to tackle it right away with Propecia, rogaine.
I will post pics,i have shaved my hair down to a .50 guard and the results are even better.
Hard to determine the amount of dots,i think it would be nearly impossible to figure that out.

Hi,
Results look great! how much did this procedure cost? And you mentioned you are not a candidate for a hair transplant because you are diffuse im sure I have seen diffuse hair transplants?
and one last question you said you have been on finasteride for ten years would you say you have the same amount of hair now as you did when you took your first dose?

Okay guys I wanted to show you all that FUE is the only way to fix our scar problems, not SMP or other types of Tattooing. It is clear from other discussions, such as this one http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showthr...t=9154&page=22 that Spex and others don’t want us to believe that FUEing into the scar is the best way to get rid of a scar. Whether it is a doc that wants you to get a Mega-session because the only reason you want to get rid of your scar is because you finally going bald and want to buzz down or the fact that Spex wants you to do his temporary tattooing and that that is quicker and somehow as good or better. What this all comes down to is money, but of course the patient is not being looked after, cause in reality he just wants to get back to normal, realizes he made a mistake and is being led down a road that he will come to regret. The truth is when we look at this case https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln50zoddl3U or"DAVE ONE’s" case here http://www.hairlosshelp.com/fo...did=102016&startpage=2 or Dr. Feridunis case here http://www.**********************.co...-feriduni.html or Bisanga’s case here http://www.hairlossexperiences.com/v...52&forum_id=17 or many other examples out there that you can indeed get back down to a 1 or even 0 guard if you don’t allow yourself to be misled. So do your research and don’t allow yourself to be misled by those who just want to make a buck at your expense.

That guy on thevumar site looks like a freak!
Thanks for your non factual but personal preference.
That said.... Spex.... Have you got the balls to shave down to a one guard and prove once and for all it's good. I for one an really cirious.

The only thing I am concerned about is his scar, and it is fixed, the reason why he looks funny is because he did a mega session, but it proves you can fix the scar which is all I care about, so do all of those other cases, especially Dave one's case, I am not sure what is non-factual about it.

At 1:19, 1:22 and again at 1:31 it is clear that the scar is fixed, but ya I think Umar is unethical in his approach by doing mega sessions and all his hairlines look bogus, but it is still obvious that he fixed that dude's scar, in just one pass, which is very impressive and is indicative of many repair patients lately from a wide array of guys who can place hairs in the scar and can break it up to the point of invisibility or near invisibility.

You cant really count dots in the same way as transplant grafts.
