Are there good doctors in Dallas, TX?
I'm 30 and have been gradually losing hair since early 20s. I would say I'm not in a severe condition yet as shown in the picture, but I would certainly could use more density. So I decided to go with the transplant. I have recently consulted with a doctor name, Verret in Plano, TX (www.drverret.com), who said I only need 500 grafts, which seems too low for me and quoted $3750 for it.
All I want is a second opinion whether this guys is legit and the price is reasonable. I've also set up an appointment with Dr. Aroch who is a member of IAHRS, but want your expert opinion.

    Thanks bunch.

500 grafts will do nothing for you. I’m not entirely sure why Dr. Varret would suggest that low of a number and that averages out to more than $7 per graft? If you're not on Propecia you should be and you should only go with an IAHRS doctor. Dr. Arocha has a good reputation and I’m sure he will give you good truthful information.

    Thanks Winston on quick response.
I was thinking same thing when he suggested 500 grafts. He also mentioned that even with the HT, I wouldn't see much difference so it is purely my decision to go with HT. At least he wasn't forcing the issue.
Yeah, I've not used Propecia and been thinking about it. I'm very cautious about taking medication especially with known side effect. Though I've been using rogaine for a while, I'm not sure if it's doing anything.
Good to hear that Dr. Arocha has a good reputation. Look forward to see him.
