Topical dutasteride + ru58841
Hello!
Long story short- I have tried many things for hair loss. Nothing has worked as well as Dutasteride (0.5mg) - It works, really well. I never thought I'd have as much hair as I do now.
It has been about 2 years since I have been using it. I have slowly been cutting it out, taking it less and less. I was against using an 5AR inhibiter for a while - but my hair got bad enough and ending up doing it anyway. Needless to say despite getting excellent results- it affects hormones so that is starting to play on my mind.
So id like to take a different approach. i have been thinking about TOPICAL Dutasteride- However not sure how to apply it to my scalp. I have read up on AloeVera gel + DUT. I am NOT interested in using minoxidil within the solution as I have read up on that being used with finasteride.
I myself have mixed some argan oil + jojoba oil + water + DUT in a spray bottle and just applied it that way. I also have a derma roller but my hair is fairly long so it pulls a bit.
Do I need to use alcohol at all within the solution?
But in terms of appropriate measurements of each I really have no clue. I know for finasteride there is a 0.25% topical solution- How does that translate to Dutasteride topical solution? Is it even relative?
Each Dutasteride pill contains 0.5mg. Does anyone know how to properly make topical Dutasteride with appropriate measurements? I would be very interested to hear what you know.
ALSO.
RU58841 - Would this be a better alternative to use topically? I know this is an anti - androgen, so it has a completely different mechanism of action - however I have been doing research on this and am willing to give this a try as well.
Thanks for the help!
