I am very happy I’ve had it done and will keep you updated on how it progresses.

First night sleep isn’t great. Propped up on your back and the bandages are not very comfortable.
I am travelling back on Thursday afternoon after a check up and first wash at the clinic in the morning.

    Hey Buddy Congrats
I have come back already and once the bandages came off I felt much better. The back of my hair is very saw so I suggest some aloveera gel.
well done for doing it now the next 14 days is very important

Same for me I attended the clinic yesterday, had my first head wash, bandages removed and it feels good. I have still got the headband on however. Are you wearing yours? I still have a swollen forehead so will keep it on until that goes I think.

Very best of luck to you. Any questions before or after procedure don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am experiencing things that forums don’t mention (nothing of concern haha).

    Hello mate.

    How you getting on?

What’s your hair washing procedure? I’ve been told to wash every 2 days. I am not applying any ointments. Have you been told to use ointments?

I am back already! my surgery finished a week ago but I can tell you my head was swollen like Frankenstein for 4 days then slowly it went down. Take the medication properly and wear the headband for at least 5 days. The hair washing is very important but remember you need 5-10 days for the Grafts to fully settle in, I find that the back of the head (the donor) area is starting to hurt a little so been taking paracetamol. Overall the pain afterwards has been ok to my surprise! All the best
