sheds suck

im 10 months in on FIN, 4.5 on rogaine. I havent seen my hair really without rogaine in it for a while, as I shower, dry a bit off and apply it, but I shed a TON of hairs this morning...so I let my hair dry fully. my hair looked like a ski slope from the back to the front....just no volume

rogaine is the only reason the front of my head ever has any volume and this god damn new wave of shedding isnt helping either. Now i just know im in for a hell of a day, worrying/knowing that my hair is worse than I thought.

I was on cloud 9 lately too because my hair looked good and the itching subsided

That ski slope. Wow, I've had difficulty verbalizing how the tapering of density looks for me, but that is exactly it. If I've been wearing a tight stocking cap, it's game over for my hair - looks like total shit.

I wish I understood sheds. At 1 month in on fin, I went out drinking all day for St. Patties. I could have puked I was so disgusted with "the pull test" the next morning. 10+ hairs per pull.

As for the worry, I find pulling my hair back and "flaunting" my hairline is the only remedy (for me, of course). When I try to hide it, I feel like half a man. Something about forcing myself to have my hairline out there for the world to see that puts my worry behind me, as I find only a fraction of peoples' eyes every actually glance up at it.

Yea I was at a friends Seder last night for Passover and had a bottle of wine..think it's just coincidental. I wish I understood sheds too. It just feels like a never ending waiting game for the "results".
