Regaine - should I stop using on Crown if my FUE is for front ?
    Hi

    Age 45

In June - I have a 1500 fue scheduled with dr keser in Turkey for the front of my head, where the regaine foam had little effect, but stopped further loss.

I do use regaine foam for the crown and it has really worked well.

I have been told to stop using minoxidil 1 month before the procedure, which i have stopped using at the front in February, to ensure, that which is going to fall out now, does so, ready for the fue to replace.

However, If I continued applying regaine to the crown only, will that effect the front ? as I am concerned that the hair regrown on the crown will fall out should I stop for 1 month ?

I heard one month, 1 week, 2 days.

I would listen to your doctor. My doctor said 1 week. I am about to go with Dr Woods FUE HT on Wednesday and Thursday.

I could see the benefit of stopping early so that you lose your hair and the doctor knows where to put it.

But then he should judge that when he saw you, as if you lose a lot of hair you will need more graft.

Nevertheless good luck buddy. I hope we both get what we want. I am excited but also a little worried, guess that is natural.

I am blogging and video taping the whole thing. Check my profile for the link as I am not allowed to post it, fair enough. But there could be some tips for you.

    Nevertheless, lets get more HAIR!
