Is this normal? Minoxidil and finasteride question

Hello,

I am currently a little over one month in on finasteride and foam minoxidil 5%. Before starting this regime I had gotten a low numbered hair cut to be able to apply the minoxidil much easier. This is definitely not my first haircut (lol) and have noticed that since starting this procedure that my hair looks almost transparent or thinner and doesn’t grow as fast as it normaly would before the treatment. I haven’t noticed any shedding or anything like that and am just trying to find out if any of the above is normal or just part of the process.
