    I think you have enough going on still to keep it on but I would start cutting it much closer than what you're currently doing.

    If you wanna go the buzzed route, I think it would have to be fairly short (like a #1 as Dave suggested), otherwise it won't help conceal the hair loss as much. If you wanna buzz it, you could start with it longer and then slowly go shorter until you reach a length you like.

    That said, whether or not you buzz is completely up to you at this point. I don't think your hair loss looks as severe as some guys who still try to keep their hair, but at the same time it is still evident that you are losing it. If you want to try and downplay that as much as possible, buzzing might be good route... And as to whether or not you you'll like it, unfortunately that's only something you'll know once you take the plunge and do it.

    Thanks for taking the time to write that, I think I'll spend the next week or so getting the courage to do it and I'll post the results once done

    When you have a week or 2 week's vacation do it - if you don't like it , it will grow back but give it time and you will adapt and probably wonder why you didn't do it earlier.
