Hairline

I have done " FUE" hair transplant and the doctor didn't choose my original hairline which is about 3 inches above my eyebrows but did it on a little higher " almost 4 inches" and he refused to do it on my original one as he said with a little higher hairline you gonna have better results and coverage and density plus in the future you gonna lose more original hairs and you gonna look awkward !
Is this right or I did a horrible mistake listening to him?! Please advice
