If you don’t mind me asking your age ? Also yes this could be causing it too. I actually just got over diagnosing my hair fall. I’m 25 right now and I don’t have signs of mpb but more of diffuse thinning. I was aacyually able to stop it and now am seeing new hair and regrowth. There’s a couple of things you should be aware of.

    1) what shampoo are you using?

    2) do you take multivatims/ fish oils ?

    3) do you smoke marijuana regularly or take any prescription drugs ?

    4) do you workout ? If you do are you using any supplements ?

    5) did you have a traumatic experience that could of triggered the hair loss ?

    6) are you a heavy caffeine user ?

And yes that could be causing you to lose it. Stop touching it, look up traction alocopia traction.

Hair loss is an absolute side effect of iron deficiencies so make sure that is sorted with blood work every six months, but consult your doctor on this. Eat lots of green vegetables, organic meats, cut out sugars and exercise. Identify any mineral or vitamin deficiencies and take care of them. Done. If your loss continues seek the opinion of an IAHRS doctor. Oh, and stop pulling your hair back to see where you've lost it. This indicates two things. You're OCD, and if you have to keep pulling your hair back to see if you have any loss, you probably don't have any to speak of.

It's worth noting that not all green veggies contain a lot of Iron but specifically dark leafy greens. That being said, the Iron present in those is in the form of a strong complex preventing most absorption, at least for humans. Eating animal liver is better, as meat doesn't contain quite as much, or taking a chelated supplement will be more efficient. The complex in quality supplements is just strong enough to favor solubility but not enough to prevent absorption.
