gray hair: better or worse at concealing baldness?

As my formerly brown hair is graying in front, more scalp is showing, my hair appears thinner. Is gray hair often less effective at concealing baldness than dark hair?

That all depends on your skin characteristics. If you have brown skin and grayish or all white hair, the contrast between the hair and the skin will be much more obvious and make you appear like you have less hair.

If you are Caucasian or light skinned, graying hair will actually help to camouflage your hair loss.

It's all about hair to scalp contrast. The less contrast the fuller your hair will appear be.

    Hope this helps.
