Still losing hair after a year of propecia. (Advice Needed)

    Hey guys
I am 21 years old and have been taking Propecia(1mg) for 1 year now and I am still losing hair (I have a receding pattern). When I started the medication I was a Norwood 1 and now I am a Norwood 2. Frontal loss is progressing rapidly and I need to decide what to add to my regime.
I have some side effects from Propecia such as liquid semen and erections not lasting as long. This worries me because it seems it would be much worse if I start on Durastride.

I have read of several negative things about Minoxodil that it will only temporarily "mask" the problem and is not a real solution. Is this true?

Are there any anti androgens I could use along with Propecia?
I have heard about using Durastride topically...

My options seem very few and I am becoming desperate to quickly add something to my regime because Propecia is not maintaining my hair.
(Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated!!)

    One year after finasteride...

Trying adding an anagen stimulator, minoxidil, and maybe whey protein. Have you had any follow-up consultations to adjust your treatment plan? It would benefit you to get an opinion.

May be u r maturing that is why hair line is not responding. It is more likely that after norwood 2 propecia will slow down or halt the process.

The hair on my head is still miniaturizing & the hairline is going back. Frontal hair loss is at an all-time high.

(1 year of Propecia & my hair is still thinning)

How can whey protein help benefit my hair?

I am allergic to Minoxidil, what else could I add to my regime and why?

Help Hair whey protein is a natural product that contains a DHT blocker. It also contains an anagen stimulator, which extends the active hair growth phase so that you keep each hair for a longer period of time. You can replace the finasteride and minoxidil with this solution.

Where is the scientific evidence? Can anyone else give a response without selling an advertisement?

Hi. Can you be more specific about the evidence that you are requesting? The benefits or existence of anagen stimulators and DHT blockers, or the existence of them in the aforementioned product? If you can be more specific, I can surely supply the evidence for you.

I've seen you talk about whey protein before and was wondering what's up with that? I take two whey protein shakes a day, are you talking about applying the powder topically somehow?

Can I get some more responses here? I think we can start an interesting discussion about Finasteride at the 1 year mark...

Finasteride didn't help my hair either. In fact, it made my hair worse. I started using it in 2012. Just like you I've debated using Minox, but there are just as many bad stories as there are good ones, so I've held off on using it.

There is not only one pathway to hair loss. Hair loss is unique to each individual for sure.

If you orally take Help Hair whey protein, you are adding the right amount of anabolic supplements to your diet. The amount of supplements in your diet does affect your hair loss in a positive or negative manner. By taking Help Hair whey protein, you ensure the right amount of biotin, an anagen stimulator. Not enough biotin causes hair loss.

If an individual cannot take minoxidil, supplements that work must contain a DHT blocker and anagen stimulator. Combating the effects of hair loss (miniaturization) through prolonging each hair follicle growth cycle is evidence that maintaining a specific diet and low anabolic supplement intake is crucial.

The benefit is keeping your existing hair until you have another option.

Your hair is experiencing miniaturization (shrinking in size, slowing in rate of growth, and decreasing in pigmentation) and will eventually stop growing unless you understand what is happening by what you are or aren't doing to stabilize. The next step is called hair loss because the follicle has been exhausted.

Whey protein will not regrow anyone's hair nor does it stop the conversion to dht.. That formula is mainly for hair health.

I don't understand why you keep pushing a protein shake all over everyone's threads. Do you have any before and after a that can help us understand your view point on this?
