Dr. William Lindsey - Virginia / Crown / 2600 Grafts

This fellow was miniaturizing and thinning in a tennis ball sized area in his crown. He had great donor hair. Despite my philosophy that there is “no glory” in the crown, we shaved a bit into surrounding, early miniaturizing hair, and dense packed his crown. Periop and 1 week pics are shown. His sutures were removed yesterday and its easy to see the counterclockwise swirl that we created with slit placement, is growing in nicely.

These are graphic pictures but it’s interesting to see what the scalp looks like after the strip has been removed. The transplant looks like it’s going to come out very well!

      Thanks.

He was easy to work with, had nice thick hair shafts and an easy to copy, albeit miniturized swirl. He had virtually no discomfort but did call a few times about the knots on the lateral suture edges being a "pain".

More pics in a few months on this fellow.
