Why not shave it off?

Can some of you guys let me know why you haven't made the decision to shave your head completely bald? I did it years ago....after much anguish from balding. I love it and have never given my own hair loss a second thought since. I'm curious to know what keeps other people from taking that big step. For me it was the questions.....

What will I look like?
What if I look worse?
What will my friends and family think when I show up with no hair?
Will it then be obvious that I was completely insecure and self-conscious?

I would appreciate your thoughts fellas.
