Hi everyone,
Long-time lurker here. First off, I want to thank the community for all the advice. I've been able to successfully stave off hair loss with a combination of PRP, laser comb, caffeeine shampoo, and, recently, topical propecia.
Now, about that topical propecia: My brother and his wife had a beautiful baby boy a month ago. I've seen the baby three times, and each time, I made sure to not use the topical propecia the day I visited the baby and to use Purel on my hands multiple times. But I'm still paranoid that I transmitted some trace amounts to the baby, and I'm considering just stopping the use of solution altogether. So, I guess my questions are:
- Is there a chance that I could've transmitted trace amounts to my nephew?
- When finasteride is exposed to air, how long is it active?
- Any other precautions I should take?
I know I sound crazy, but it's my nephew, and I don't want to take any risks... Thanks in advance.
