Is this diffuse thinning?

So recently I've decided to grow my hair to see how my receding hair line has affected me with long hair. When combing through my hair, I've noticed big patches of bald spots on my hair. I'm not sure if this is diffuse thinning or not? If i didn't push my hair up I wouldn't have noticed that I had bald spots near the top. I've attached a pic of my hair when wet.

FYI, I'm currently a NW3 and my reigmen includes 0.5mg finasteride per day, 5mg foam minox usually twice a day, and nizoral maybe once or twice a week.
