What to do if you have a severe hair loss?

I have a severe hair loss, and I don't know what to do about it! Everything is ok with my health as far as I know. What should I do not to go bald?

I suffer from hair loss too. I was upset first and then I decided to shave everything off.

Very funny. This option is not for me.

Think you need to get a good doctor that can prescribe to a compounding pharmacist.

Get liquid Finasteride and Minoxidil, to start with. Then work on getting stronger medications if they
        don't work.

You can slow down hair loss process, and strengthen your hair with a help of laser therapy. Read more about it at https://www.grivamax.com/. Consult your doctor first. Your specialist might prescribe vitamins.

Stress and poor nutrition negatively affect hair condition. First of all, you need to eat right, reduce stress and start taking vitamins.

I had the same problem and I was very worried about losing all my hair. My hairstylist recommended me special vitamins. She says that baldness is a genetically inherited problem.

Get on propecia, or characterise oral. Topical is bullshit, and rogaine 5% . Vitamins alone will not do anything . You said it was severe that is your only chance. Don't waste time with other bullshit like vitamins if you want your hair back

Not if it's doctor prescribed it's not.

Topical Finasteride is equal to solid Finasteride.

Hair loss can be in the genetics sadly, but sometimes small changes to your diet, lifestyle and hair care routine can be really beneficial to look after the hair you've got and encourage new hair to grow. Check out this blog post How To Make Your Hair Thicker for a load of free easy tips.
Most importantly, try to not let it get you down, as this can make it worse. It is really difficult, but there are solutions out there for hair loss, and there are great supportive communities like this one for people suffering.

Stress is one of the possible factors. Genetics also plays an important role.

You have options, that"s the good news. I agree that starting with both prescription pharma therapy and a support group to see what works for other folks....this forum is great for that. I like the Hw To Make Your Hair Thicker as suggested. Not alone. We meet people everyday who are in the same boat.
I havent met one yet in years that we couldnt help. Plus, again this forums members are well versed in those options. Reaching out is the first step.

Topical finasteride is not even close to being as potent as oral. Even topical dutaseride . It doesn't matter where you get it. My results from oral where way more pronounced and succesful. I think it has to do with absorption , but side effects are less on topical

It happened to me too. My hair was falling out severely. I thought that nothing will be left on my head. The doctor recommended a laser therapy to strengthen the hair and stimulate the growth in the bald spots.
