Does anyone know about Scalp Flap Surgery/Fleming/Mayer Flap? I've Googled it. I'm wondering why isn't it more popular?

The is known as one of the most barbaric and outdated forms of hair restoration surgery ever performed. The fact that it is still be advertised today is a travesty. The complications of all flap surgery can be devastating. -

Fleming/Meyer flap? Wonder why it is not popular? Maybe ask Al Gore. The flap will give you a nice hairline. As you age and your hair thins you will have youthful hairline and nothing behind it. Also you can get scarring in the hairline and flap area. If you want to be Al Gore like and have the side hair for it then try. Personally I would go with a quality FUT for a more balanced and natural looking thinning. Fleming & Meyer are still alive? This was started in the early 80's I think?Comment

I thought Trump had hair grafts. Al Gore had a flap. The way Trump does his hair he seems to be hiding his hairline and the sides where grafting was done? My reason is that a flap produces a very youthful hairline that many who have it comb their hair back.Comment
