FUE for hairline?

Honestly dude, I don't think your hairline looks that bad. I was expecting a lot worse based on the way you were talking about it, which isn't surprising considering we're generally our own worst critics. You could maybe address sides of the hairline, but that would be more of an aesthetic preference than anything.

The best thing you can do regarding a HT is to meet with a surgeon (several, actually) and get their opinions based on their evaluation. Your hair is cut pretty short, so it's hard for me to get a good idea of your overall density - although I do think you seem like a good candidate based on the photos alone. When setting up appointments or reaching out to different surgeons, ask them if they do miniaturization tests to determine your projected hair loss. This will give you super helpful information regarding how to proceed.
