If you're thinking about FUE, judging from his images it looks like Dr. Turowski would be one of the top contenders. The work looks extremely clean.

Then why is Konior off the list of IAHRS surgeons??? As someone who has taken a long look into surgery the past 3 years it has been frightening enough watching the vultures screw people with ridiculous homemade concoctions, tropicals, potions, pills etc. It has been horrific to learn of the bad transplants and the student ran surgeries with techs while doctors are not even present, at times. BUT what is the use of an IAHRS list, that I used to think was the bible, when anyone at anytime can get dropped and no reason is given to us??? How do I know that the doctor I choose from that list will not get dropped the day I go in to get cut???

Personally the fact that “the list” does change is a good thing in my opinion. If you ever listen the The Bald Truth show, Spencer always says that the IAHRS is just a starting point and that every great HT surgeon has unhappy patients. If you can’t handle the possibility of surgery not going well, don’t have it is the bald truth mantra. I never had surgery because I thought those are real words of wisdom.

Perhaps Dr. Konior voluntarily dropped membership due to the fact that he probably doesn't need marketing? My understanding is that he is booked many months in advance. His strong suit appears to be outstanding, consistent results due to skilled artistry and his perfectionism---and not self-promotion. Maybe the admins can give us inquiring minds more insight?

Konior. He is one of the very best.

Problem is, I get the impression he's slowed down a bit and (maybe?) reduced working days, and his waitlist is about a year...

So if you're planning on staying in Chicago, be ready to wait.

Everything I've heard about Konior has been extremely positive. I also read recently that he has a wait list of over a year as well...

What Payday said about Bald Truth and us needing to be able to handle the possibility of a surgery not going well was very well stated. That's something we all need to remind ourselves.
