1mg Generic finasteride now affordably available in UK

    Hi,

FYI - Recently 1mg generic finasteride has become available on prescription in the UK and the price of it is now much more affordable than it was when it first came out. It saves the cutting up of Proscar and 5mg generic finasteride if you find this tricky so worth considering it if you are a finasteride user, as a similar price for a years supply without having to cut the tab.

I can gladly help put you in touch with the UK GP's i use for my finasteride private prescription if this helps, just let me know.

    Spex,
What is your opinion of generic finasteride efficacy vs brand name propecia/proscar from Merck? Joe Tillman has stated numerous times that he has seen many patients actually start losing hair when they have switched from name brand to generic. Also, in the past I've heard Spencer advise to be Leary of generics.
