    week without usual hairloss meds

Just arrived in turkey for a week-long holiday and realised that I forgot my dut, regaine and RU. Gutted. Want to enjoy my break but concerned i'm going to lose ground over the next week. All I have is a bottle of revita. Am I likely to lose ground?

You'll be fine. It takes several weeks for DHT to return to baseline and if you are on dut, it can take months. Enjoy your break!

If my dht will remain suppressed for the duration of the week then why do people use it every day?

That's just the way these meds are prescribed. Most people on them for a long period of time could probably skip weeks without a problem.

Are we able to travel with hair loss meds(minox, fin,)? I always wondered if it would be a problem traveling out of the country with these meds.

I should be travelling to Europe soon, I'll just wrap them up in tissue.

Bro, Turkey is the best place to buy these medications for really cheap. Buy your dut from there, I'm sure its way cheaper than buying it from your home town

I bought proscar over there for a measly 16 dollars (1 year supply). Here in New York, I pay 400 a year.

Check out your local pharmacy (or "Eczane")

No prescription needed, buy as much as you'd like - just check expiration date too

I think they open regular business hours, just look for "Eczane", they're everywhere in Istanbul and Izmir, not sure about other cities

Turns out pharmacies were still open at 7pm in kas. Walked in and bought avodart for 30 leera (local currency - may have spelt wrong). No prescription required. Cheap and straightforward. God bless Turkey.
