    Low Level Laser Treatment

This is my first post so I apologise if what I'm about to ask may sound abit stupid. I started going bold at the crown back in 2012 and am currently 36. Only started to look into treatments this year. The first clinic I went into said that I would be better suited for laser therapy teatment rather than a transplant.

I'm really new to all this baldness treatments but am not keen on finasteride as I am trying for a child at the moment and don't want to risk it no matter how small the risk. I have read a few things saying that laser therapy treatment is nothing more than a scam. Any advice on laser therapy would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is there any evidence that LLLT actually regrows hair? If there is I would like to see it. I don't mean improve the quality of hair or some nonsense like that, I mean regrowth. If you don't want to take fin, then your only other option is minoxidil.

I have heard people say it improves hair quality, but if I wanted to do that, I would get a nice conditioner. We all want hair growth and I just haven't seen any proof that LLLT will grow hair. Stick to the proven stuff. If you want to give it a try, then go for it, but don't put all your hope into thinking that LLLT will help regrow your hair.

Lots of guys believe LLLT is a scam. It really isn't but you cannot change what people believe once they have set their mind on a belief. My assessment from my own experience with LLLT is that it improves the hair you still have but it does little to nothing to bring back hair that has already been lost. Also from what I have been able to determine through talking with others who are using LLLT is that it works better for women than it does for men. Maybe it will help you, maybe it won't. The only way to find out is to try.
