    Hit the gym hard...felt good.

Thank you all for your support, my fellow hair loss brothers.

I hit the gym hard for pecs and triceps the other day. I felt so darn good the entire workout and for a day after. The sore muscles were a great feeling, cuz I knew that now all my protein intake would help grow the pecs.

Just don't ruin your workout by killing a large pizza and 2 liter of coke.

Good on you man, and hopefully by 2020 we have a permanent cure as opposed to crappy treatments we have now.

Well done lads, the bloke who has had a difficult time is finally doing something to improve his life and yet the thread has descended into this nonsense in a mere few messages. Keep up the good work FlightTL.

I hope FlightTL didn't take offense to my comments, just having fun with the guy. You are right though, it's good he is finally picking himself up and doing something good for himself.

Some humor doesn't hurt though. I try to bring that here. We need it. I would much rather laugh, than hide in some corner feeling sorry for myself.

I probably won't get jacked fast, cuz I'm doing it naturally. I hope to get 10% bodyfat by the end of the year.

I've ate tons of pizza, chips, cheese sticks, and sugary stuff. So, I have a ton of belly fat.

As far as the comments go, I do not take any offense.

Went to a party today, 1 out of every 2 guys is a Norwood somewhere in the scale.

Just stick with it and you will start to see results. Just don't quit. Good job going to a party. Gotta put yourself out there. This is going to be a good year for you if you keep this up.

most dudes have some form of loss, and most don't realize it. However, we're programmed to feel like everyone else is perfect and we aren't - because that's how they make money in marketing..

Good for you on hitting the gym but to get to your goal of 10% body fat you'll need to seriously revamp your nutrition intake. In fact, nutrition has a much larger role than the gym does when it comes to cutting body fat. Cut out sugars, increase good fats and avoid breads, potatoes etc. Meat, nuts, berries, green vegetables will do you a world of good. I lost 25 pounds doing this and have been religious about it for the past year and a half, along with going to the gym regularly, five days a week. At 44 I'm in better shape than when I was 24. Above all, stick to it and never stop.

Emphatic amen to Joe's post. Lifting/exercising is crucial, obviously, but it's just close to impossible to get to your goal without diet. I had good look on the paleo diet. It's a tad severe and its practitioners tend to get a little doctrinaire about it, but it reinforces good habits. If you can stick to it, it'll be a huge help in getting to 10% BF (which is really, really low--I know that sounds high, but it's a tough goal).

Hey Joe when was that gym photo on your FB page taken? Are you in Seattle now? Don't worry...not a stalker!

Hi Hairy, no that was at my gym in Vancouver. The pic was taken two days ago.

                              Thanks! Great photo.

Just noticed your image text next to your posts has you as living in Seattle. Did you move back? Do you like Vancouver a lot more than Seattle? I reside in the latter, but sometimes wish like moving to the former temporarily. Also, are you planning on becoming more active on Twitter? Thanks for your super documentation.
