    Let's discuss THE DAY

I remember that night like it was yesterday! It was raining heavily; there were puddles everywhere! Work was horrible as usual...dealing with lots of demanding customers. I was looking forward to getting home.
    And finally I did...

I still remember the smell of my mums cooking as I got out of the car! I was a mess! Dripping everywhere. Mum grabbed my jacket and hung it in the balcony...

I went in the bathroom to wash up and I stared at myself in the mirror, trying to remember my youth...my hair...the happy and cheerful person I used to be...and I did, sort of...I felt sorrow swallowing me from inside out...quickly looked away from the mirror and walked out!

Sat down at the dining table and pulled out my phone! Logged into BTT in hope of finally seeing a positive news! And...and there it was!

"It's over boyz! They did it! We're going to be hairy again!!!!" The thread was only a few hours old...but there were 1000s of replies!

The cutting edge forum was exploding with members celebrating...

I couldnt believe my eyes!!! I read the first few lines: "Baldness is the thing of the past! Japanese scientists believe their Hair Multiplication technique will be marketable within the next 2 years after successfully passing Phase 1 & 2 trials"

I jumped up! Hugged my mum and gave her a kiss! She was blown away! Speechless...

I ran out to the backyard, screaming silently, the way Don Corleone did when her daughter got shot in Godfather 3...The rain was hiding the tears of joy my body was happily giving up for one final moment of joy after all these years of pain!

And that day was the best day of life

"Desmond post recapping event's that took place in 2022"

funniest thing I've ever seen haha, but I don't know if you have seen the Spencer&Dr. Mwamba interview, we could have a surgical cure way before 2022...

i believe 2015 will be a year of comfort....90% cure..

hair multipication protocols will achieve much greater success rates and doubling de novo (unlimitted donor plus great yields)will be mainstream

Great post Desmond. I have the same thoughts often. Hope that after a long day at school or work, I log on to the Cutting Edge Forum, and see a new thread that already has hundreds of replies to the cure. However, I am not unhappy that I am late to the party, but overjoyed that we all can make a giant leap forward...just happy to be part of the cure.

Desmond, were you born in 84. If your prediction of a hair loss cure is in 2022, you would be about 38 by then. Do you think that's a little late or would you be happy then?

I would like something in my 20s. I'll be 33 by 2022, too old.

I will admit it is more important to have hair in your 20's. I can almost guarantee it will bother you in your 30's too.

and 40's and 50's. Most people don't decide to go bald by choice, and would choose hair over not having it at any age.

fk sake desmond, I read your post thinking, have i missed something....there is a cure coming out in 2 years!!!

then no, a kick in the balls.

2022 is too late for me.

SMP is the only way for me now. A proper cure is miles away.

Of course it will. Hair loss will haunt me forever, I also have alopecia areata. Unless there's a cure for both, i'll always have one.

The sooner the better, but even if I get my hair back in my 40, 50, 60 or 70's, I'd still be more fortunate than millions of men who lived up to a million years before me. But still in regards to a cure, my dad started losing his hair at 45 and he's now 68. He's from an older generation that doesn't easily talk about emotions or hair loss, so I never know how he deals with it. If there will ever be a cure I hope it doesn't take another 20 years so I can share that day with him.
