    What Hairloss Stage am I?

Hey guys, I'm 21 years old and have been dealing with receding temple points. I've always seemed to have receding points so my receding temples have not been aggressive at all. However, being 21 and young, I want to keep the hair that I have. I have no other hair loss problems and I do not shed very much. My father is bald, my uncle is not, and on my mom's side noone is bald. How far along am I? Any advice on what I should do?

Your crown picture is taken exactly how I take mine. Haha its a pain in the ass to get that pic isn't it?! I will let others reply on the NW topic. I'm guessing you will get answers in the vicinity of 2.5 though.

I'd say NW2 with no visible diffuse thinning.

Your a NW 2.5 but your hair is really thick which is odd. If you want to maintain your hair/hairline then start taking propecia/proscar.

Thank you all for the replies, I really appreciate it. I have just been concerned considering that my dad is bald and my dad's dad is bald. What steps should I take? I don't want to take Propecia too soon because I don't want to have negative effects when I'm not bad enough to be taking it in the first place. Then again, I want to get on something while I am ahead of the game; it's a tough decision. Thank you all again, and please keep giving me feedback/advice.

First, I'll start by saying it's interesting you have like the exact same genealogy of balding as me ,based on what you've said in these two posts. Also, we have similar hairlines and hairloss as a whole.

I think it is reasonable for you to wait on fin, but you'll really want to keep a sharp eye on your loss (without being obsessive). Minox would under-serve you and be the most expensive, in my opinion. Keto shampoo is relatively cheap and is considerably less side-effective.
