The Paraguay Health Declaration provides comprehensive guidelines on how the country can improve healthcare for the citizens. One of these is the establishment of a National Health Mission. In the past, the mission was composed of a small team that worked closely with the various departments of the health administration so as to provide better health care services. The assignment is still operational, but the number of associates has been reduced to decrease overlap in services among different government agencies and associations. The diminished size of the team provides a more manageable and operational health agency construction.
