- I had a strip surgery in 2007 from Dr. Feller. I was 20 years old. He gave me 1,500 grafts and left me with a 25cm strip scar that is .5cm wide. While I had decent growth from the grafts it was never dense enough to keep my hair long and the scar still shows at a #5 grade. Worst decision of my life. I have not lost more hair since then which is the good news. However, I have decided to buzz my head and move forward. Only one problem.....the scar. I am seeking to follow the path that northeastguy took.
