58 y/o RN recently dx w/hair loss secondary to genetics and seborrea-dermatitis as well as female pattern baldness. Totally depressed and grieving over the dx as well as feeling pretty hopeless about stabilizing/recovery of loss. Prescribed propecia 1 mg daily. Haven't started yet wondering about side effects, and long long term use. Doc also recommended a wig place....
