Being the Director of the Anesthesiology Department of Bergmann Kord Hair Clinic in Greece since 1995, I am responsible for the maximization of patients’ comfort during hair transplantation. Through the effectual communication with the patient before and during the procedure as well as the rational use of conscious sedation (sedative for relaxation and anesthetic in order to block pain) and local anesthesia (at donor and recipient area), we have succeeded to eliminate both procedure’s discomfort and postoperative swelling and pain.
