41 y.o. female with drastically thinning hair at hairline and in top. I obsess over how to wear my hair and end up wearing a wig because my hair is so thin and I've been dealing with thinning for at least 5 years. Using Rogaine and still discouraged. Dermatologist said it is scarring alopecia and nothing could be done. Dr. also said I could keep all chemicals out of my hair but who wants to look so outdated even though my hair appears thicker naturally (without a perm).
