Tony Strewart's fifth win of the 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup was aboust as dramatic as they could come, with Stewart winning Sunday's Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, beating second-place Carl Edwards behind a timely caution flag and a seemingly unstoppable No. 14 chevrolet on restarts. Stewart pumped his fist after winning the most improbable of titles, in which he began the Chase without a win.
