The Eastern Belgium open-air music festival swept by storm on Thursday, August 18, 2011, killed three person and leave 71 Belgian injuries. Concert goers described the scenario as a frightening one wherein sky darkened, the wind whipped as rain poured hard and the concert structures buckled. It was said that ambulances and police cars raced to and from the site where the festival happen. Pukkelpop festival, located near the town of Hasselt, and 50 miles east of Brussels. The blaring sirens was on the streets late Thursday.
