I have alopecia areata. It started when I was 8 months old. I lost all my hair after taking penicilin, which I am alergic to. My hairloss had ups and downs through elementary school then went into remission for jr high and highschool. It started acting up again at the end of highschool and has progressively been getting worse since. So thats where I stand today. I have lost most of my head hair, my eyebrows, some eyelashes, arm, leg and pit hair. I am considering shaving my head and investing in a vacuum wig.
