Odd thinning patch at back of the head, what are the odds it's telogen effluvium?

Hey so I got a haircut a while back, but I noticed this odd patch. It's been freaking me out for a while. I also noticed some more general thinning near the middle of my head as well and to the side of my head above the ear. I noticed a lot of shedding within the last 2 months. I've also been stressed with school and such to the point where I wouldmt sleep or eat for a while. Is it possible that it's telogen effluvium?
