Are trhere any effective non presscription pills or serums that grow hair?

Hi,

I am new to the forum and was looking for any effective non prescription solutions for hair growth. I have started taking Minoxidil 5% foam but I was thinking of trying Viviscal. Does Viviscal work and are there any serums or lotions or other pills that are over the counter that are effective or would I just be wasting my money?
