Receding or maturing? 18 years old.

Hi there, I would appreciate any insight into this. I cannot decide if my hair is maturing or receding as I am only young, though I am aware this can happen from the onset of puberty (believe me I’ve been looking at so many articles, posts and what not). I’m clutching at straws here for help and I’m getting mixed opinions from family and friends. I knew coming here may be better as many of you are more familiarised with the whole receding hair thing. On the Norwood scale my dad is about an II, his dad however was a VII yet all his children have reasonably okay hairlines. My mums dad however was around an II also, maybe a little bit more significant but not too much. Looking at my siblings, my eldest has little to no recession yet my second to youngest has minor recession of about a I this far.

I’ve attached some photos, any help would be appreciated, I just don’t like the concept of being on propecia or the likes due to my current student budget.

    Many thanks.

Don’t want to cause panaic but I would say that is start of Male pattern baldness however there is a lot of things you can do to halt this Finasteride works wonders with younger people! You may even retain some hair from the temples and have thicker hair.

Looks like VERY early stages of male pattern baldness dude.

Don't worry, you have plenty of time before you start to notice it, and when you do just own it, it's by FAR the best way to deal with it.

Couldn't be happier bald myself , and I'm only 27.
